Chardham Yatra Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar/Delhi – Barkot (176 km, 6-7 hrs)
Arrival in Haridwar/Delhi, drive to Barkot via Kempty Falls.
· Check into a hotel and rest overnight.
Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (46 km drive, 6 km trek)
Travel to Jankichatti, then trek (or take a pony) to Yamunotri Temple.
· Visit Divya Shila & Surya Kund, take Prasad, and return to Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km, 5 hrs)
Drive to Uttarkashi, check into a hotel.
· Visit Vishwanath Temple.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km, 5 hrs each way)
Drive to Gangotri via Harsil & Bhagirathi River.
· Visit Gangotri Temple & Surya Kund, return to Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (197 km, 8-9 hrs)
Scenic drive along the Mandakini River, stay overnight in Guptkashi.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 km drive, 20 km trek)
- Drive to Sonprayag, then trek to Kedarnath.
- Visit Kedarnath Temple & nearby sites.
- Stay overnight at Dharamshala/camp.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (165 km, 4-5 hrs)
· Early morning Darshan at Kedarnath.
· Trek back to Sonprayag, drive to Guptkashi.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath (133 km, 4 hrs)
Visit Badrinath Temple, Pandukeshwar, and stay overnight.
Day 9: Badrinath – Rishikesh – Haridwar/Delhi (242 km, 6-7 hrs)
Drive via Rishikesh, attend Ganga Aarti, then return to Haridwar/Delhi.
