Day 1
The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kasol to the picturesque village of Tosh, where traditional houses sit amid lush greenery. From Tosh, trekkers start their journey towards Buddhaban, a peaceful hamlet in the heart of the Himalayas. Day 2
On Day 2 of the Animal Pass Trek, trekkers journey from Buddhaban to Sharam Thach, navigating rugged terrain and breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Day 3
On Day 3 of the Animal Pass Trek, trekkers journey from Sharam Thach to Shamshi Thach, passing through lush meadows and dense forests. Upon reaching Shamshi Thach, they are welcomed by a tranquil campsite surrounded by mountains, offering a peaceful setting to relax and rejuvenate. Day 4
Day 4 of the Animal Pass Trek is a challenging and rewarding journey. Starting from Shamshi Thach, trekkers head towards the Animal Pass, located at a lofty altitude of 14,960 feet. The trail features rugged terrain and steep ascents, testing both physical endurance and mental strength.
Upon reaching the summit of Animal Pass, trekkers are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks and valleys. After soaking in the breathtaking vistas, the descent to Sharam Thach begins, covering approximately 8 hours of diverse terrain, including rocky paths and alpine meadows.
By the end of the day, trekkers arrive at Sharam Thach, a peaceful campsite nestled in the heart of the wilderness, where they can relax, reflect on their achievements, and prepare for the final leg of the journey.
Day 5
On the final day of the Animal Pass Trek, trekkers leave the peaceful Sharam Thatch and head towards Buddhaban at 10,000 feet, enjoying panoramic views of peaks and valleys. After a reflective break at Buddhaban, they begin their descent to Kasol, at 5,184 feet, taking in the beauty of the Himalayan wilderness.
