Itinerary (Days)

Day 1

The adventure begins with a scenic 10-hour drive from Dehradun to Joshimath, covering 280 kilometers. Along the way, trekkers will enjoy stunning views of lush valleys, winding rivers, and majestic mountains.

Arriving in Joshimath, located at 6,150 feet, provides an opportunity to acclimatize and prepare for the trek ahead, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 2

On Day 2, trekkers will journey from Joshimath to Guling, covering about 6 kilometers and reaching an elevation of 9,850 feet. This moderate trek features varied terrain and elevation gains, allowing for gradual acclimatization to higher altitudes.

As you trek, enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Himalayas, passing through forests, meadows, and mountain streams. Guling serves as a serene campsite where trekkers can rest, recharge, and prepare for the adventures ahead

Day 3

On Day 3, adventurers will trek from Guling to the Khulara Campsite, covering approximately 5 kilometers in 4 to 5 hours. Ascending to 11,122 feet, trekkers will be rewarded with stunning vistas of the Himalayan landscape.

The trail features varied terrain, including gentle slopes and rocky paths, providing both challenge and beauty. Upon reaching Khulara Campsite, trekkers can relax, recharge, and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains before continuing their journey

Day 4

On Day 4, trekkers will tackle the challenging journey from Khulara Campsite to the summit of Kuari Pass, which is at an elevation of approximately 12,500 feet. Upon reaching the summit, enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi and Trishul.

After spending time at the summit to capture memories and take in the breathtaking vistas, trekkers will descend back to the Khulara Campsite for the night. This day promises a memorable adventure, allowing trekkers to conquer one of the iconic passes in the Himalayas.

Day 5

On the fifth day, trekkers bid farewell to the scenic Khulara Campsite and begin their descent to Joshimath, located at an elevation of 11,122 feet. As a basecamp for trekkers and a gateway to various Himalayan expeditions, Joshimath offers a warm return to civilization.

The journey back allows trekkers to reflect on their unforgettable experiences while enjoying stunning mountain views. Descending through lush forests, peaceful meadows, and cascading streams, adventurers gradually make their way down.

Upon reaching Joshimath, trekkers can indulge in hearty meals and comfortable accommodations, concluding their journey with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude for the majestic landscapes of the Kuari Pass trek

Day 6

On Day 6, trekkers embark on the final leg of their journey, departing from Joshimath at an altitude of 6,150 feet. The trek concludes with a return trip to Dehradun, marking the end of an exhilarating adventure.
