Har Ki Dun Trek at Dehradun

Trek by Back In Adventure · From ₹11,250

Overview

Step into a timeless valley with the Har Ki Dun Trek, one of the most beautiful and classic treks in the Garhwal Himalayas. Known as the Valley of Gods, Har Ki Dun offers a rare blend of breathtaking alpine scenery, ancient villages, evergreen forests, and panoramic views of snow-clad peaks.

Starting from Dehradun, you’ll drive through stunning mountain roads to reach Sankri, a charming base village surrounded by pine forests. From there, the trail takes you alongside rivers, through lush meadows, and into remote villages like Puani Garat and Kalkatidhar, where you’ll experience warm local hospitality and rich culture.

The highlight of this trek is the serene Har Ki Dun Valley itself — a cradle-shaped hanging valley ringed by lofty peaks like Swargarohini, Hata Peak, and Black Peak. You’ll also visit Marinda Tal, a small alpine lake that makes the entire journey even more picturesque.

Whether you’re a nature lover, a photography enthusiast, or simply someone seeking peaceful mountain time, Har Ki Dun is the perfect introduction to the beauty and legends of the Himalayas.
