Arrive in Srinagar and check into your hotel/houseboat. Spend the day exploring Dal Lake with a Shikara ride, Mughal Gardens, and the local Kashmiri market. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Drive through the beautiful Sonmarg valley and cross Zoji La Pass (11,575 ft). En route, visit the Kargil War Memorial at Drass before reaching Kargil. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Travel via Namika La and Fotu La passes. Visit Lamayuru Monastery and enjoy views of the Magnetic Hill and confluence of Indus–Zanskar rivers near Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Cross the world-famous Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) to reach Nubra Valley. Explore Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel safari in Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight in Nubra.

Drive to Turtuk, India’s last village near the Indo-Pak border, known for its unique Balti culture and apricot orchards. Return to Nubra for overnight stay.

Cross Chang La Pass (17,586 ft), one of the highest motorable passes, and return to Leh. Evening free for shopping at Leh market. Overnight in Leh.

Begin the Leh–Manali highway journey via Tanglang La Pass (17,480 ft), More Plains, and Lachung La & Nakee La passes before reaching Sarchu. Overnight at camps.

Drive across Baralacha La, Zingzing Bar, Suraj Tal, and Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft) before descending into Manali. Check-in and overnight stay in Manali.
