Kedarkantha Trek 5D at Dehradun

The Kedarkantha Trek is a 5-day adventure through the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand. Starting from Dehradun, you’ll trek to scenic spots like Juda Ka Talab and the Base Camp, before reaching the summit at 12,500 feet for stunning panoramic views. After descending, you’ll return to Benzer Stays and then head back to Dehradun. The trek offers a perfect mix of natural beauty, adventure, and breathtaking mountain vistas, making it suitable for trekkers of varying experience levels

1. Age: 7 to 65 years.
2. Fitness: Moderate fitness level; some trekking experience is helpful.
3. Health: No serious medical conditions.
4. Endurance: Ability to trek 6-7 hours a day.

Trekking experience is beneficial but not required

On Day 1, you'll be picked up from Prince Chowk, Dehradun at 7:30 AM. After a scenic drive, you will arrive at Benzer Stays, where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. In the evening, witness a beautiful sunset, marking the perfect start to your Kedarkantha trek adventure. You will stay overnight at Benzer Stays and enjoy a warm Hi-Tea and Dinner.

On Day 2, after a hearty breakfast, you'll drive to Sankri and begin your trek to Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful campsite located at an elevation of 9,200 feet. The trek is about 3-4 km, passing through lush forests and offering picturesque views. You'll spend the night camping near the serene Juda Ka Talab pond, surrounded by stunning natural beauty

On Day 3, after a nutritious breakfast, you'll begin your trek from Juda Ka Talab to the Base Camp at an elevation of 10,400 feet. The trek covers a distance of approximately 3 km, passing through dense forests and offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Upon reaching the Base Camp, you’ll set up camp and enjoy the evening in the tranquil surroundings, with the excitement building for the summit trek ahead. Dinner and overnight stay at Base Camp.

On Day 4, you will begin your day early at 3:00 AM, embarking on a challenging trek to the summit of Kedarkantha (12,500 feet) to catch the breathtaking sunrise. After reaching the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Following your time at the summit, you’ll descend back to Base Camp and then drive back to Benzer Stays. After a fulfilling day, you’ll stay overnight at Benzer Stays, enjoying a well-deserved dinner and rest.

On Day 5, after a nutritious breakfast at Benzer Stays, you will begin your journey back to Dehradun. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, and you'll arrive in Dehradun by afternoon or evening, marking the end of your memorable Kedarkantha trek adventure.
