Itinerary (Days)
Day 1
Assemble at the boarding point in Delhi by evening.
Overnight journey to Shimla in a comfortable tempo traveler.
Enjoy the scenic mountain roads as you leave the plains behind.
Day 2
Reach Shimla in the morning, freshen up and proceed towards Narkanda (approx. 65 km).
Check into your hotel/homestay.
Evening walk around apple orchards and enjoy panoramic views.
Overnight stay in Narkanda.
Day 3
After breakfast, drive towards Chitkul – the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border.
En route pass through Sangla Valley, known for pine forests and Baspa River.
Reach Chitkul, explore the village, temple, and riverside.
Overnight stay in Sangla/Chitkul.
Day 4
Early departure for Kaza (Spiti HQ).
En route visit Nako Lake, Tabo Monastery (over 1000 years old), and Dhankar Monastery perched on a cliff.
Reach Kaza by evening.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 5
After breakfast, explore the best of Spiti Valley:
Key Monastery – iconic Buddhist monastery
Kibber Village – famous for snow leopards & wildlife
Hikkim Village – world’s highest post office
Komic Village – one of the highest inhabited villages in the world
Return to Kaza. Overnight stay.
Day 6
Early morning departure.
Drive through scenic valleys and reach Kalpa for views of Kinnaur Kailash.
Continue to Sarahan, known for the Bhimakali Temple.
Overnight stay in Sarahan.
Day 7
After breakfast, drive back to Shimla.
