The variety of landscapes makes the Kashmir Great Lakes a moderate–difficult trek spanning six days. It comes with long trekking hours, steep ascents, and challenging descents, with no easy exit points. Because of these factors, this trek is not recommended for beginners who have never been exposed to high-altitude terrain.
