Overview
Phoktey Dara, known as the "Queen of Hills," is a stunning destination in Sikkim, perched at an altitude of 12,800 feet and offering breathtaking views of the majestic Kanchenjunga peak and the Everest Group. Your adventure begins with a timely pickup and a scenic drive to Hilley, the trek's starting point, where you'll pass through the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you'll meet our representatives and trekking team, who will provide safety instructions and accompany you throughout your journey. The trek leads you through the Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, navigating lush landscapes at elevations ranging from 2,200 to 4,100 meters. A challenging 2 km trek will take you to the highest point, Singalila Pass, at 3,700 meters, where you can soak in panoramic views of the Everest Group and the glossy Kanchenjunga, while also spotting diverse bird species.
