Day 1: Rishikesh to Lohajung
Day 1 marks the beginning of your Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek as you embark on a 10-11 hour drive from Rishikesh to Lohajung, covering a distance of around 250 km. The journey is filled with stunning views of the Himalayan foothills, dense forests, and small, picturesque villages. As you travel along winding mountain roads, the landscape gradually transforms, offering glimpses of the majestic peaks ahead.
Upon reaching Lohajung by evening, you'll settle into your guesthouse for the night. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to rest, acclimatize to the altitude, and get ready for the trekking adventure that lies ahead. This day serves as an introduction to the trek and provides a peaceful start to your journey.

Day 2: Lohajung to Didna Village
On Day 2, you begin the trekking portion of your adventure as you depart from Lohajung and head towards Didna Village. The trek covers a distance of 6-7 km and takes around 4-5 hours. The trail starts with a gradual ascent, taking you through lush forests of oak and rhododendron, with occasional clearings offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys.
As you approach Didna Village, the landscape changes, and you'll see terraced fields and traditional stone houses. The peaceful village is nestled in the mountains at an altitude of 8,100 ft. After a fulfilling day of trekking, you’ll settle into your campsite or guesthouse for the night, surrounded by the serene beauty of the region.

Day 3: Didna Village to Khobal Tal via Ali Bugyal
On Day 3, your trek takes you from Didna Village to Khobal Tal via the beautiful Ali Bugyal. This is a longer day, covering a distance of 9-10 km and taking around 7-8 hours.
The trail starts with a steady climb through lush forests, eventually opening up to the expansive meadows of Ali Bugyal. The vast, green meadows surrounded by towering peaks offer spectacular views, and you may spot local shepherds tending to their flocks. As you continue, you’ll pass Ali Bugyal and make your way towards Khobal Tal, a serene and pristine lake nestled at an altitude of 11,300 ft. The beauty of the lake, combined with the surrounding mountains, creates a perfect setting for a peaceful rest.
You’ll camp near the lake, with ample time to relax and take in the stunning surroundings before settling in for the night.

Day 4: Khobal Tal to Ghairoli Patal via Bedni Bugyal
On Day 4, the trek takes you from Khobal Tal to Ghairoli Patal via the stunning Bedni Bugyal. This day involves a trek of 6-7 km and takes around 4-5 hours.
You begin with a gentle ascent towards Bedni Bugyal, one of the most beautiful alpine meadows in the region. The lush meadows, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, offer spectacular views of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti. From Bedni Bugyal, the trail continues towards Bedni Top, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
After crossing Bedni Top, you descend towards Ghairoli Patal, a beautiful campsite nestled at 10,500 ft. The serene and peaceful environment here, with vast meadows and clear skies, makes it an ideal spot for camping.

Day 5: Ghairoli Patal to Wan, then Drive to Lohajung
On Day 5, you begin the descent as you trek from Ghairoli Patal to Wan, covering a distance of 6-7 km, which takes around 5-6 hours. The descent through the forests and meadows is picturesque, offering views of the surrounding peaks and valleys as you make your way down.
Once you reach Wan, a small village nestled in the mountains, you will take a short break before a 45-minute drive back to Lohajung, where you will spend the night. This drive is a chance to relax and enjoy the views of the beautiful landscape as you head back to base camp.
After reaching Lohajung, you'll have some time to rest, relax, and reflect on the incredible experiences of the past few days.

Day 6: Lohajung to Rishikesh
On the final day, you’ll embark on the 10-11 hour drive back to Rishikesh from Lohajung, covering a distance of 250 km. After an early breakfast, the journey will take you through the same scenic routes you traveled on Day 1. As you make your way down from the mountains, you'll pass through charming villages and dense forests, slowly transitioning from the peaceful mountains to the bustling town of Rishikesh.
You will arrive in Rishikesh by the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek. After completing this unforgettable adventure, you’ll be dropped off at Laxman Jhula in Rishikesh, concluding your journey with memories of the beautiful landscapes, serene campsites, and majestic mountains.
